The return service will be operated on a Dial-a-Ride basis, meaning that seats must be booked in advance. This will be done on a first come first served basis.

Bookings for this service can be made through the Transport Office on 01595 745745 until 4.30pm the previous day. Bookings may also be arranged with the driver on the morning of travel, however these bookings will be dependent on remaining vehicle capacity.

Please note that these arrangements will operate for a three month trial period to gauge usage levels and suitability for Bressay residents. Feedback regarding this trial is welcome and can be made to the Transport Strategy Officer on 01595 743957. These arrangements do not affect the Monday and Saturday Shopper service operated by John Leask & Son.
