Travel to and from Shetland

A daily ferry service provided by NorthLink allows people the opportunity to travel to and from Shetland. There are two vessels, which operate between Aberdeen and Lerwick, leaving in the early evening and arriving the following morning. An external air service gives people the opportunity to travel to and from a number of destinations out with Shetland. Operating out of Sumburgh Airport as a British Airways Franchise Partner, Loganair offers flights to Orkney, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness with connecting flights available for Glasgow, London Heathrow, Birmingham, Manchester and starting in summer 2008 Loganair will also be offering a seasonal service to Bergen.
