Public Transport in Shetland
ZetTrans is responsible for specifying the level of public transport provision in Shetland. It does this through consultation with the public and in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders.
ZetTrans is also responsible for securing funding for the public transport network and works very closely with Shetland Islands Council to ensure that public transport delivers the highest value for money to the public purse.
The network is designed to ensure that residents can access health, retail, leisure, work and training and visitors can experience the beauty of Shetland's unique environment.
